Many cases are advertised as aluminum case, but nearly as many aren’t. Inferior cases are simply combinations of plastic and wood buttressed by aluminum. While these cases are finished to give the look of an aluminum case, they are actually cobbled together with a combination of glue, rivets, nails and tacks. They simply can’t stack up to a SOLID all metal case in terms of strength, durability or even weight
