I gave this an extra star just because of the size. Otherwise, I wish I never had bought this case. I am a travelling service engineer that does both car and air travel. The case does not hold up well for air travel. I have had it for two months now and I have tried to fight through it, but I have to concede to the fact that I am going to have to buy a new case. First, after my very first trip, the top of the case has an depression in it, as if someone was sitting on it, due to the weak, non-reinforced case material. The sides and bottom are reinforced, but the top is not. Second, after a few more trips the hinges are now bent, making it very difficult to close the case "squarely." It closes, but you can easily see that the edges do not line up, and sometimes you have to manually force the lid back into its rightful position to close properly so the latches can catch. Which brings me to my biggest gripe about this case...the latches. They come open extremely easily. Multiple times the only thing that has saved my tools from being laid out all over the baggage carousel are the two TSA locks I use to prevent someone from opening the case. Little did I know that the locks would quickly turn from being used to ensure the lid stays closed, rather than ensuring someone can't open it! So I will be shopping for another case unfortunately. And what's worse is that I can highly doubt that I can expense another case through my company and will most likely have to pay for the next one out of my own pocket...

This case is lightweight yet sturdy. It is very easy to roll around even when its loaded with tools. The pallets in it are very accomidating. This case is just right for carrying several tools around with you and keeping them all organized.

It's been a long time since I've used one of the cases as I've been out of field service for a while. I like the fact that it is lighter than other cases and the long handle is great because I'm over 6' tall. It's amazing how much luggage is made for the sub 5'10" crowd. They supply extra padding to keep the loose items snug in the open compartment. I only have 2 gripes. First, the bag is taller than wide while rolling, it makes the bag a little unstable, however this is probably minor since I can pack it to shift weight. The second point is they don't tell you the bag includes a TSA lock. It comes with one in the case. Because it wasn't mentioned, I bought one. Not a big deal, but it was unnecessary.
